Commitment to Public Education

The District of Columbia Education Compact (DCEC) serves as a Local Education Fund and a Civic Organizer. DCEC is an independent organization that represents a variety of stakeholders who share a commitment to improving public education in the District. DCEC brings together parents, teachers, social service providers, higher education institutions, businesses, elected officials and others in Sector Groups to work on the strategic priorities of District of Columbia public schools. We work to align the resources and efforts of those dedicated to this mission, and also serve as a fiduciary agent of public and private financial investment to make prudent investments that support academic achievement.
